There has been no lack of promptness on the part of the Blogsters to point out the 190 some posts which had assocations with porn. The comments made by the community are important, but most also, "jumping the gun". Comments like these are everywhere, in both Blogs and in our private messages:
"I cannot believe Blogster would allow this."
"How can you allow pornographic material?"
"This porn sucks, I'm gone because you allow this to go on."
Now, let's take a field trip over to the Terms of Services Page:
No offensive or defamatory comments: Comments must not be abusive, deceptive, defamatory, derogatory, fraudulent, harassing, harmful, hateful, indecent, obscene, offensive, pornographic, profane, racist, sexist, sexually explicit, threatening, vulgar, or otherwise objectionable as determined by BLOGSTER.COM in its sole discretion. All offensive or defamatory contents may be remove without notice and BLOGSTER.COM may terminate the user's access to the Site.
By our own rules, we do not allow this. First realize we maintain normal office hours, so spam problems are not caught till the next morning unless one of us cannot sleep, and since Kendall is on vacation you are stuck with me. We have since cleaned out the offending posts and taken precautions against this particular individual. Now we are going to have to safeguard the registration system even more than it already is.
Next realize... these are not even "real" posts. There was not 190 different people sharing their porn, it was one program probably written by one delightful young fellow which found a way around the registration checks designed to spam content for means of making money per click and spreading virus.
While we work on this today, all I can suggest is that Blogsters everywhere get a nice warm cup of coffee, kick back and relax. From what I am told we also will be having some interesting news upcoming in the next week or two, so don't touch that dial if your computer is old enough to have any.

I was informed by another blogster user who now quit blogging here because of it. I am still here, just warning my blogster friends to not click on those.
Some people just have too much time on their hands and to spam and spread viruses. They need a life!

I know you are very busy people, whom we think are on hand 24/7. What would be really interesting to me would be a team blog post with pictures, that show's us your "office", and what really goes on behind the scenes. that would be really cool!

you can see there are more words then just "pornographic". "Offensive" and "hatefull"are also not tolerated in comments. You are used to use these kind of words a lot so I hope ur warned as well.

I do believe that says no COMMENTs may be made that have material of those various natures.... am I right? Let people post what they want. Force them to make it private if you want, so people can't just 'stumble' onto it, but really, I hate people that are like, "Ew Mi Gawd, that was disgusting, I'm leaving blogster!"
