Continued Progress on Blogster

March 28, 2008 / by team

Dear Citizens of Blogsterville,

After another round of testing on the new privacy features, we're just about ready to go live with the new updates on Blogster. We've also been working on the "Block" feature as well as some spam reporting tools to help us keep the system clean. Expect those updates after the weekend.

The snow is gone! Joshua, our lead designer, is continuing to work hard on some new themes but, until then, we all decided that it was time to get rid of the snow. We've put up a basic blue theme for now and you can expect some exciting new themes and customization options in the near future.

If you're unable to see the new update, press Control F5 (Firefox and Internet Explorer) on your keyboard to force your browser to refresh.

We have 3 new programmers that we're bringing on board this Summer which we're all very excited about! You can expect a steady progress of updates over the next few weeks, with major progress picking up in mid-May/early June as the development team expands

Have a wonderful weekend and we'll look forward to updating you again next week.

Joshua will be glad to hear that :). Look forward to the new themes as well, we've been able to see some sneak previews and they're quite amazing.

This morning till evening, I think blogster has killed most of bugs. Now, I have tested and compared between greasy and blogster speed.. greasy late around 7-10 second to open something in 58kbps speed, greasy late around 3 second in 384kbps speed internet. I'm not sure it's right or not, but I satisfied because Jonathan and the team did it!

I was compared with greasy because everbody were moved to there lol

I have spent over an hour trying to put up one text page to my blogster site. SLOW is the only word. I have DSL and your slow is slow. You are putting up Video???? Please do something about the speed, new faster or more servers?
