Dear Citizens of Blogsterville,
The past few days have been pretty crazy here in the Blogster development offices. As of now, not only should the site be "back to normal", you should all be experiencing a significant speed increase.
After the work we did (mentioned in the last post), things were going apparently well until a power surge in New Jersey hit the Blogster servers and took them offline. Once we got them back up and running, we discovered that there were still a few things causing slowdowns in the system itself.
Over the past few days Nick and Kendall (the lead programmers) spent late hours going through the code and finding the cause of the slowdowns.
Test the site and try to break it. If you can't, enjoy the improvements :). If you do find a problem, let us know. We're getting down to the core of Blogster and slowly but surely taking things out, rebuilding them right, and putting them back in action. Report any problems to us and we'll be on it.

Thanks for this post. I have just tried to access '' my subscriptions'', in order to unsubscribe, but I get the web page server problem page. I'm sure you know the one .

Sometimes I'm not able to type a comment in other people's blogs. I will see the add a comment box, but when I click on the white box it does nothing. Thanks.
I have 2 messages in my in box from a year ago that I can't delete and my 'friends' page is such a mess I've given up on it--I would like to have it all deleted (would take me way too long to delete each individually) and, honestly--I am a patient man but (with all the excuses) it is over 8 months and still many complaints from many. Sorry, but that's the truth.

I still am confused on this issue: I know you send notifications of new blog posts and for comments to blog posts. Are you still sending e-mail notifications for "replies to comments to blog posts"? I haven't been getting those for the longest time, and I really miss them!!
I appreciate your hard work. On the top of my wish list? I know for a fact that hundreds of my friends and associates log onto my site at least 2X a week and maybe more. They are not necessarily members but, the counter pretty much stays the same??? Also, a nice feature on the old format was that you could "browse categories" from your home page... Can't do that... I've successfully added 3 photos in my photoalbum. But I cannot find my way to add them to my posts, so that they APPEAR there . If I copy&paste the URL of one of the photos I've added in Blogster to my post, then I can see no image--neither as a preview nor afterwards. Check :

As I am trying to upload a photo in my post edditing place, I see the ADD PHOTO tag and as I click on it a BROWSE photo tag appears, then I click on it and chose a picture, its URL appears besides that tool BUT there is NO tag with the inscription UPLOAD afterwards. So, how I am supposed to upload it at all ? :(
In my case, there is no upload photo option to the right of the text box in the edit article screen. :(

Some kind friends are telling me that I need to click where it's written UPLOAD PICTURE (right hand side), but I have such a thing NOWHERE :(

There is an upload photo option to the right of the text box in the edit article screen. If after using this, you still cannt see your images, I would Email Blogster about it so they can look into it.
